Battery/ Gas WELFARE UNITS
The battery/ gas welfare unit is from our steel cabin range and is available in a standard size of 24ft x 9ft and meets with HSE requirements.  It has been designed to provide fully functioning welfare facilities from the moment it is set down and offers a pleasant working environment throughout the day while providing high security when unattended.

Within the canteen/kitchen there is a sink, cooker and kettle and our standard range of furniture which will be either freestanding or fitted at no additional cost. In addition the unit is supplied with drinking water and a complimentary pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and disposable cups.  Within the wash/drying room there are fixed bench seats, coat hooks and one washbasin.

The standard toilet supplied is a recycling toilet, which we regularly service. As an alternative the toilet can be connected to the main sewer. Included within our complimentary pack you will find an initial supply of toilet paper and soap.

The unit is supplied with 2 gas bottles, the gas supply operates the wall mounted gas heaters, lights and cooker hob.  The battery derived power supply for the unit will last 6 weeks minimum on each supply, i.e. a total of 12 weeks’ use from the date of delivery, the battery is mainly used for the water pumps delivering water to the hot and cold taps. Replacement battery packs and gas bottles are available delivered to your site at a very reasonable cost.

Drinking water is stored in 4 easily filled containers, and hand wash water is filled with a detachable roll along refillable container. All water refills are undertaken by your people on site.
